The Club will re-open on Monday 6th September 2010. The new sessions will be as follows:

Mon 19:00-21:00 Advanced Sabre and Foil

Wed 18:00-19:30 Beginners and Primary Sabre

Wed 19:30-21:00 Secondary Sabre [age 11-13]

Fri 18:00-19:30 Primary Sabre, Beginners and Primary Foil

Fri 19:30-21:00 Secondary Sabre and Foil

Advanced Classes are open only to competitive fencers aged 11+ who wish to train at least twice a week.

Beginners Classes are 10 week courses and these programmes are limited to a maximum of 10 boys and Girls aged 7-11. Older beginners may be accepted subject to availability of space in secondary classes.

Club Charges

Beginners Course [10 weeks] £50.00

Annual Membership

Subscriptions for 1 session on Wed or Fri - £190.00 per annum

Subscriptions for 2 sessions per week - £360.00 per annum

Subscriptions can be paid by two instalments in September and February. Cost include coaching costs at club plus supply of basic equiptment if required.

British Fencing Membership

Fencers are recommended to take out with BFA membership at one of following levels, which will provide you with personal insurance.

Social - This will cover you whilst you are training at club but not in competitions.

Full - There are different rates according to age [see BFA website]. This will cover you for both training and competition.

Beginners Do not need membership for first 10 sessions at club.
